18 year old Monica came to our Flagler clinic thinking abortion was her only option. She felt too young, too naive to have a baby. She had been only one year with her boyfriend, the father of the baby, and he had no idea about her pregnancy. She was not even sure how far along she was. No one knew anything about the situation she was going through. She was too stressed to tell anyone because she was not sure if she would receive support from her family.
After the counseling session and seeing her 9 week old baby on the ultrasound she decided to choose life and tell her mom and boyfriend about the pregnancy. Hearing her baby’s heartbeat for the first time was unforgettable! We praise the Lord for Monica and baby Jarlet who was born June 27th, 2023. Monica and her boyfriend are full of joy with their baby girl and very grateful to God and His perfect plan.
