Ivania’s Crisis
Ivania was only 17 years old when she came to one of our Pregnancy Help Medical Clinics. She had been sexually abused in her country and fled to the United States all alone and with no family. Heartbeat of Miami’s Board Chair, Raiza Rodriguez, met Ivania. She felt such compassion for her and brought her to one of our clinics. We were able to counsel Ivania and share with her the love and hope she has in Jesus. Her pregnancy test was positive.
We talked through all of Ivania’s options with her and assured her of the perfect plan and purpose God has for this baby’s life. She was not alone – we would be there for her throughout her journey no matter what.
Ivania’s Decision
To God’s glory, even though the baby was conceived by rape, Ivania chose life for her child and we were able to provide everything she needed for her precious little boy. Baby Andres was born and Heartbeat of Miami became Ivania’s family. Her bundle of joy has given her strength for the journey, she has found hope and peace in our Lord Jesus and is ready for the good fight to raise precious baby Andres.
