While choosing stories for this month's letter, Jesse who is the Director in North Miami, calls to tell me, "The twins were just born! Please pray, they are only 28 weeks." We immediately prayed for them and for their mother "Sallie."
I couldn't help but remember when Sallie came to our North Miami Clinic. She was from Aruba and a student at Miami-Dade College. She was also pregnant and desperate. Sallie told Jesse that she was all alone here and her only focus was to finish her degree. All of her family was in Aruba and how could she go back home with a baby and no career? Her parents had struggled to give her an education and she could not do this to them. Jesse held Sally's hand and assured her that we would help her and that her baby had a perfect plan and purpose to fulfill for God. Sallie told Jesse that she felt so alone and missed her family. As they were doing the ultrasound, Sallie was afraid to look at the screen but when our ultrasound technician Lourdes shouted out, "Twins, they are identical twin boys!" Sallie couldn't help but take a look and burst into laughter as her 18 week old boys jumped and touched each other's face as if they knew their mommy was watching them. How can we forget that sight? How can we question God?
The twins were born thanks to our Lord, an unselfish mother who chose life and a plan of adoption for her little boys and our clinic that offered her love and support. When these babies get strong enough, they will be placed in a Christian home where love will abound. They will always know of the unselfish love of their mother. Sallie has given them the opportunity to live and will forever be a part of their life because they all agreed on an "open adoption."
God is so good! May He touch your heart so that you can also be a part of this beautiful story. You can demonstrate unselfish love and compassion with your faithful gift. Please prayerfully consider becoming a monthly Heart for Life Giver of any amount the Lord leads. Thank you for thinking of all these precious babies and their mothers. ¡Feliz primavera! Espero que haya pasado un precioso Día de Resurrección. ¡Nuestro Redentor Vive! Estas son las Buenas Nuevas que compartimos con cada mujer que entra a nuestras Clínicas de Embarazo de Heartbeat of Miami. Poder ayudar a rescatar estas vidas preciosas y ver vidas transformadas para siempre es nuestra pasión y con El todo es posible.
Mientras seleccionaba una historia para este mes, Jesse, que es la Directora de la Clínica de North Miami me llamó para decirme: "¡Nacieron los gemelos, por favor oren, solamente tienen 28 semanas!" Inmediatamente, nos pusimos a orar por ellos y por su madre "Sallie."
No pude evitar el recordar cuando Sallie llegó a nuestra Clínica de North Miami, ella es de Aruba y una estudiante de la Universidad de Miami-Dade y estaba embarazada y desesperada. Sallie le contó a Jesse que ella estaba sola aquí y que su meta y enfoque era obtener su grado universitario y toda su familia estaba en Aruba. ¿Cómo podría ella regresar a casa con un bebé y sin una carrera? Sus padres se habían sacrificado para darle una educación y ella no los podía defraudar. Jesse tomó la mano de Sallie y le aseguró que nosotros la ayudaríamos y que Dios tenía un plan y un propósito para su bebé. En ese momento, Sallie le confesó a Jesse que se sentía muy sola y extrañaba a su familia. Cuando le hicieron el ultrasonido, Sallie tenía miedo de mirar la pantalla pero cuando Lourdes, nuestra técnica de ultrasonido, gritó: "!Son gemelos, son varoncitos!" Sallie no pudo contenerse y rompió en carcajadas al ver en la pantalla a esos bebitos de 18 semanas saltando y tocándose la carita el uno al otro como si supieran que su Mami los estaba mirando. ¿Cómo poder olvidar esta escena? ¿Cómo poder cuestionar la voluntad de Dios?
Los gemelos nacieron gracias a nuestro Señor, a una madre que sin egoísmo alguno eligió vida y un plan de adopción para su pequeños hijitos y a nuestra Clínica que le ofreció a ella amor y apoyo. Cuando estos bebés estén lo suficientemente fuertes, se situarán en un hogar Cristiano donde abunda el amor. Siempre sabrán que el inmenso amor de su madre Sallie les permitió vivir y también ella será parte de sus vidas ya que ella los padres adoptivos acordaron hacer una "adopción abierta."
¡Dios es tan bueno! Que él toque su corazón para que usted también pueda ser parte de esta hermosa historia. Usted puede demostrar su amor y compasión con su apoyo financiero.
